I just joined J. Kaye’s The 2009 – 100+ Reading Challenge! I hope to keep up with it. At the start of the year I have read a lot of books already, but forgot to followup those books as I have been busy with my pregnancy. I started reading a new book, which I just can’t put off. I will continue reading those books (3 or 4, perhaps) after I am done reading Dr. Joseph Murphy’s “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind”.

I must say that this book is highly recommended.

I suppose that joining the reading challenge would greatly motivate me to finish reading all the books I brought from home two years ago, and the ebooks I printed last year. I also bought some books from bookstores here. I plan to send the books back home after reading them.

I am eagerly waiting for the birth of my baby, and wouldn’t read books for two months to give my eyes and body some time to relax. This means that I only have six months to read 100+ books. Yay!

As what I’ve learned from the Subconscious book I am reading, I now say, “I accept it in my mind.” A thought becomes a reality.

Wanna join the Reading Challenge? You can join anytime now and read books until Dec. 3, 2009. You can read any books. Sign up now here.

Here are my entries for the challenge. Technically, I am starting for the challenge during the month of March, but I have to list all books I have started to read at the start of the year. I was busy listening to Audiobooks (for my baby in my womb) for the past three months; hence, I haven’t read much of my reading assignments.

January 2009

  1. The Power of Persuasion – not yet finished
  2. What to Expect When You’re Expecting – last two chapters not yet done
  3. The Birth Order Book – done reading
  4. While Waiting – done reading

February 2009

  1. The Secret – halfway
  2. Temper Your Child’s Tantrums – halfway
  3. When Will I Learn to Fly?

March 2009

  1. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

I just learned that I have to make a review of the book that I have read for a particular month. I will start with the book/s I am reading for the month of March since this is the official month that I have joined the 100+ reading challenge. My proper review of “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” will be done next week. I hope to finish the book this weekend.

I think I need to buy more books. I only have a few books left here in our new place. My books (mini-library) are in our country back home. We’ll see. I’m glad that there’s also a challenge for reading ebooks! Yay! I have a lot of ebooks here. I will blog about the ebooks challenge tomorrow. There’s also the Audiobook challenge! Yay! I have been listening to audiobooks (for my baby in my womb). I will formally join the challenge tomorrow.

thanks, J. Kaye, for the warm welcome! thank you for initiating the reading challenge. glad to be part of it, and I hope to live up with it. I’m currently reading my first book entry for this year’s challenge.

[…] I am almost done with the book, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, maybe tonight. It took me long to read it because I really have digested every word into my consciousness and my subconscious mind. Through the book, I learned to visualize a painless, smooth, natural delivery. I can’t wait to review the whole book and post it in my blog as my entry for the 2009 Reading Challenge. […]
