Dear Baby1,

Howdy my baby!

As I write this letter, you’re sleeping in your own bed. For what reason? Not because you went there by your own will, but because you forced yourself to go there. Tehee.

Mommy was about to cut your toenails when you were awakened and you started crying. You were in our bed, and then, you got up, went to your own bed.

I need to watch over you as you may be surprised why you’re suddenly alone in your bed.

BTW, last night, you slept at around 1a.m. already. You were awakened when Daddy went home around 11p.m. You played with Daddy’s Iphone, and oh, boy, you really surprised us with your speed in picking up anything that you hear!

When you saw the waves of the ocean, you said, “Swim”. The picture of the waves was really scary (big, white waves) and then you said, “Oh, God! Baby, baby”…We didn’t know what you meant by it, but it is something that conveyed with strong emotion.

You’re a fast learner, baby. We are very proud of you.

mommy

Dear Baby1,

Howdy my baby!

How are you, ate? You always smile when you hear the word, “ate”…I am pretty sure that you’ll be a great ate to your younger sister. I am also sure that you’re eager to see her comes June! Wow, we’re all excited for the coming of baby K into our lives. Soon, there will be four of us – daddy, mommy, you, and baby K.

Baby, you’ve become more talkative now. Thank God. But, there’s one thing you don’t often do now – and that’s to eat square meals. Sad. I wish your appetite would come back ASAP.

We went to the Avenues mall yesterday, and along the way, you saw the King’s picture, and you asked, “who’s this?” I said, he’s the King of Kuwait. You’re amazing, baby, at 23 months.

We also bought you new sets of clothes from baroue. Whew, daddy and mommy have been buying you and baby K with new sets of clothes every week? Haha.

It was last Thursday when we bought you your own bed. Mommy cried as soon as you climbed on your bed. How time flies, really! I was in tears, both of happiness and sadness, because now you have your own bed. It’s not even having your own room yet; just your own bed in our bedroom — beside daddy’s and mommy’s bed. But why did I cry? Haha. Perhaps, I would be missing you so much because you’re now beginning to act independently. At night time, I was trying to see if you’d sleep in your own bed – you didn’t. You preferred to sleep in our bed, but, on Mommy’s side, not between Daddy and Mommy. :)

Last night, you slept again beside Mommy. Hmmm, you don’t want now to sleep between Daddy and Mommy. Last night, too, we saw that it’s your “lambing” to Daddy when you tend to reject him at night. You’d say no to him or his kisses or even when he hugs you at night when you’re about to sleep. But it’s just your way to let him know that you want him in our bed. When Daddy left last night after you rejected him, you followed him and wanted him to come back to our bed. Hehe.

This afternoon, we video chatted with Papa and Mama and Auntie A back home. You sang, and you talked, and you jumped, and growled to their amazement. Good job, baby.

This is all for now.

Dear Baby2,

Howdy my baby! It’s been quite awhile since Mommy wrote you a letter. How have you been doing my baby?

Mommy is so happy that you’re so active in my womb! It was this week when you kicked Mommy so hardly for several times during the night. Daddy was even surprised when you kicked his hand! WOW. You’re growing so fast.

By the way, we just bought your new sets of clothes again. Wow, you have a lot of clothes, baby. We also bought two pieces of swaddle blanket to make you comfortable during the night, and to straighten your legs. We’re quite sad that your ate’s legs are quite straight yet. She didn’t want to be swaddled with improvised blanket when she was younger. She also didn’t want to be massaged. Oh,  we do hope that you would like to be swaddled, and massaged.

Over three months to go, baby, and we’ll gonna see, hug, and kiss you!

Dear Baby,

Howdy, baby!

I missed writing letters for you and baby k. Mommy has been very busy the past few days. Don’t worry, I found the time to write you a letter.

When we were walking yesterday towards McDonald’s, a boy of 2 years or up approached us, grabbed your hand, and when he couldn’t get your hand from me, he held your face with both hands and kissed you! To Mommy’s amazement and dismay because he kissed you near your lips or on your lips. I hope he just kissed you on your cheeks because after kissing you, he smiled, and I saw that teeth were all decaying. Iwww. 😀

Baby, at 23 months, the more that you became addicted to Dora the Explorer. You wouldn’t watch your other videos (educational stuffs) because they bore you. 😀 But not with Dora. You’d like to watch it from morning to night. Of course, I’d only allow you to watch it in moderation. I am glad that you are very responsive when you watch Dora. You answer Dora’s questions, and you participate in whatever she asks of you to do as a viewer.

Just tonight, you saw this heart in Mommy’s Facebook, and you said, “heart!”. So happy that you can recognize shapes now, and you can count from 1 to 20 and did I hear it right, you also know the numbers from 21 to 40?

Happy Valentine’s day, my baby.
