Pregnancy without pounds: Weight-loss e-book for pregnant women

During my first pregnancy in 2008, I gained 13 kilos or 28.6 pounds. I had a hard time shredding the weight gain. It took me over a year before I lost the excess pounds. My pre-pregnancy weight was at 43.4kg.

In my 2nd pregnancy today, I think I am not gaining weight, in fact, I lost a kilo on my 4th month prenatal checkup. My pre-pregnancy weight was at 46kg. On my 1st month of pregnancy, I weighed 44kg, but on my last month’s checkup at 4 months, I only weighed 43kg. The doctor said that my baby is perfectly doing all right. I just had to eat more. I told him “I eat rice every 2 hours. I wonder why I lost weight when I should be gaining.”

I love my figure right now. If you don’t see my growing tummy upfront, you won’t notice I’m pregnant. My arms are toned, and so are my legs. My face hasn’t grown bigger, too. I don’t have a regular exercise routine. I only have frequent small feedings every 2 hours. I also drink a lot of water everyday. I don’t wait for my tummy to growl. I eat before I get hungry so as to avoid being nauseated.

Dear Baby 2,

Howdy, my baby! This will just be a quick letter from Mommy. I’d just like to let you know that yesterday at 4pm, I felt your little kick in Mommy’s womb. You’re now 4 months, baby2! Whoa! Five more months to go and will gonna see you.

Daddy and Mommy are still thinking of what to name you. I think I’d opt for just one letter, one name (first name). My options consist of two names just like Ate’s name. Hmmm. We’ll see.

This is all for now. I’ll write more soon.

iloveyou,

mommy

Update:

We’ve finally decided on your name, baby2. But wait, Daddy is thinking of adding a 2nd name. Haha. But at least, the first name is done. Tell you more…

Dear Baby2,

Geez, my baby2! It’s been quite a while since Mommy wrote you a letter. I am VERY SORRY! There have been countless times I wanted to write you and Ate some letters, but, Mommy kept on postponing them. Ahh, but this time around, I shouldn’t postpone this great news! Read the rest of this entry »
