Dear Baby,
Howdy! Finally you’re now asleep. You did have enough energy to play with Daddy. It was also great to see how you performed well in your learning time with Daddy.
Actually, Mom doesn’t have time to write this letter. I’m currently cleaning your messes in the living room! Haha. But I need to write this letter or else I might forget the necessary details about the amazing things you showed us tonight. This will be a quick letter though.
Mommy would like to let you know that you really are fantastic, baby. You just know things well in your First Words book. You know what a food is; what animals are; what vehicles are. If the picture is food, you make a sound with your tongue as if you’re eating. If they are animals, you growl. If they’re vehicles, you mimic the sounds that a certain vehicle makes, like the train, the tractor. You’re amazing, really! Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Baby,
Howdy, baby! You’re sleeping now. As usual, here’s Mommy writing a letter for you. I should have written you this letter a few days back, but, Mom’s very busy.
Did you know that today we (Daddy, Mommy, and you) ate at your small table for a change? Oh, not just for a change, actually, it’s more of making you feel eating time should be in a table. You don’t actually want your high chair anymore. You’d prefer standing on your high chair, or, rather, seat on top of your high chair! Good thing Mommy thought of letting you use your small (alphabet) table this noon. Whoala, and Daddy thought of eating there, too. Mommy followed. We took pictures! Haha. You’re so adorable, baby. You kept on going near the camera so majority of our pics then only got your face. You somehow ate well. Wow. That’s great. Dinner time somehow went well, too. I wish you’re always like that…We all ate there again.During the weekdays, we’d love to eat with you again in your small table, at least twice a day.
I want to tell you some interesting things and tricks you did this week. And you really amazed Daddy and Mommy!
Here goes:
When we’re at the McDonald’s, an Arab woman called her kids and said, “Taal! Taal!” We were too shocked when you mimicked her, “Taal! Taal!”, in the same accent and loud voice of the woman! Haha. You’re such a darling, baby. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Baby,
Hello baby! So sorry for not writing you letters for how many days now. Mom’s so tired lately due to a lot of things. You seem to be a handful these days. But don’t worry. It’s normal. Mom’s just kinda sad that you don’t seem to grow well. Lately though you’ve been eating a lot of mashed potato at the IKEA resto.
Mommy made her own mashed potato and gravy sauce. Hmmm. I wonder if I made it right, but, you did eat well.
It’s final. Mommy wouldn’t leave you in our hometown. I decided two nights ago that I’d leave you there for 5 months until such time that you’d gain enough weight. But I know that it would be hard for both of us. Tonight, I decided that we’ll make it together – you, me, and Daddy in making you grow. We’d have our vacation together, too. Mommy decided that it wouldn’t be good to have international flight if it’s just the two of us again.
You amazed Daddy when you showed him that you closed the cap of the milk (in sachet). You just didn’t close it by putting the cover; you twisted the cap by moving it in a circular motion. How did you know it should be closed that way? Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Baby,
Howdy! You’re sleeping as Mommy writes this. You must be very tired from crying! You cried because you didn’t want to eat and Mommy was trying to let you eat some more. Mommy prepared your baby food (chicken and rice) via the blender we bought last night. I really hope you’d have some appetite now.
You’re at the stage where everything is a big, big No. Sigh.Glad that after sometime, Mommy was able to cut your fingernails. Uh-oh, your fingernails are longish – as usual – you won’t let Mommy or Daddy cut your fingernails.
The other night we bought you a lot of clothes at Marks and Spencer’s, and some books, too. From now on, we’ll buy majority of your clothes and books at M&S’s. Good choices and good price, hmmm, actually, just the same with Mothercare’s. We also bought two dresses last night at Carrefour -cheaper by 50% than M&S’s. But, I love the styles from M&S’s more than Carrefour’s.We also bought your shoes at Guess. Guess would be on sale today by 20% but opted to buy the shoes last night since the discount would just be forfeited with our fare. We don’t have the driving license yet. It’s now being processed. I hope Daddy would get it soon.
Mommy needs to help Daddy clean up our mess. Glad that we bought a new vacuum cleaner last night – our third vacuum cleaner in two years! This time the new vacuum cleaner is enough to unearth every mess you throw on the carpet. Bring it on, baby. Haha. You’re really good at throwing your baby food on the floor, your toys and books on the floor, and more.
It’s all right. Childhood happens only once. I remember taking a video of you while you’re throwing your food – was it pasta – on the floor. It was a real mess – from your face, to your high chair, to your dress, and onto the floor. No worries there. You’ll just outgrown it.
This is all for now. You’re now awake; we just heard you.
iloveyou,
mommy
