Dear Baby,

Wow, it’s morning again! Haha. Mommy can only write you letters after midnight. I just finished cleaning our kitchen. A new maid is coming over tomorrow. I hope she’s THE ONE.

How are you, baby? You must be very tired. We got home after mass at around 10p.m. already.

At the mass, you sang! Haha. So cute, really, because you were hitting the notes!

You ate chocolate at Pad’s office.

You also consumed half-box of the choco-drink.

And, Daddy forgot to brush your teeth. He was the one who cleaned you up before bedtime. Mommy forgot to tell Daddy, too. Anyway, I’ll wipe your teeth with a clean cloth, in a few minutes.

Yesterday morning, you amazed Mommy because it was your first time to get down from the sofa. Mommy was busily cooking (good thing, you weren’t at the kitchen when the fry pan (with boiling oil) fell down from the gas stove — thank God!) when you’re at the door waiting for me! Haha. You’re so cutie! How did you get down from the sofa on your own? Daddy was amazed, too, because he witnessed it last night. He said that you went down from the sofa effortlessly. WOW.

You amazed us, too, when, for the second time (that I witnessed it), you drank your choco drink like a pro. You drank it without the straw (direct from the box, from the small hole so had to pull your head back to drink the choco).

Time flies so fast, really. Everyday you’re showing your developments. I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to witness your antics, tricks, and funny moments.

This is all for now, baby. It’s almost four in the morning. Mommy needs to sleep now.

iloveyou,

mommy

Dear Baby,

Hello, baby! We just came from eating at the McDonald’s, and shopping galore at Giordano! Uh-oh, you didn’t eat much, but, you consumed a lot of softdrinks — too bad. Thank God for sending your angel. You were about to stepped on by two stupid peeps — they didn’t see you were walking at the McDonald’s hallway.

We’re very sorry, baby. After eating at McDonald’s, we headed straight to Giordano in the nearby mall. It was so humid. Daddy, Mommy, and you were all sweating. We seldom experience that here in the desert. Good for Daddy and Mommy so we’d be able to shed some flab, but, not good for you. Hehe.

You must be very tired, baby. You’re now asleep, and Daddy, too. Mommy’s gonna iron Daddy’s clothes, and clean your messes again. Last night, err, early morning, Mommy slept at around 4a.m. already; I cleaned our house! No problem with how you messed up our house. Hehe.

This is all for now. I’ll write you again soon.

iloveyou,

mommy

Dear Baby,

Howdy, baby! You’re sleeping now. As usual, here’s Mommy writing a letter for you. I should have written you this letter a few days back, but, Mom’s very busy.

Did you know that today we (Daddy, Mommy, and you) ate at your small table for a change? Oh, not just for a change, actually, it’s more of making you feel eating time should be in a table. You don’t actually want your high chair anymore. You’d prefer standing on your high chair, or, rather, seat on top of your high chair! Good thing Mommy thought of letting you use your small (alphabet) table this noon. Whoala, and Daddy thought of eating there, too. Mommy followed. We took pictures! Haha. You’re so adorable, baby. You kept on going near the camera so majority of our pics then only got your face. You somehow ate well. Wow. That’s great. Dinner time somehow went well, too. I wish you’re always like that…We all ate there again.During the weekdays, we’d love to eat with you again in your small table, at least twice a day.

I want to tell you some interesting things and tricks you did this week. And you really amazed Daddy and Mommy!

Here goes:

When we’re at the McDonald’s, an Arab woman called her kids and said, “Taal! Taal!” We were too shocked when you mimicked her, “Taal! Taal!”, in the same accent and loud voice of the woman! Haha. You’re such a darling, baby. Continue reading →

Dear Baby,

Hello baby! So sorry for not writing you letters for how many days now. Mom’s so tired lately due to a lot of things. You seem to be a handful these days. But don’t worry. It’s normal. Mom’s just kinda sad that you don’t seem to grow well. Lately though you’ve been eating a lot of mashed potato at the IKEA resto.

Mommy made her own mashed potato and gravy sauce. Hmmm. I wonder if I made it right, but, you did eat well.

It’s final. Mommy wouldn’t leave you in our hometown. I decided two nights ago that I’d leave you there for 5 months until such time that you’d gain enough weight. But I know that it would be hard for both of us. Tonight, I decided that we’ll make it together – you, me, and Daddy in making you grow. We’d have our vacation together, too. Mommy decided that it wouldn’t be good to have international flight if it’s just the two of us again.

You amazed Daddy when you showed him that you closed the cap of the milk (in sachet). You just didn’t close it by putting the cover; you twisted the cap by moving it in a circular motion. How did you know it should be closed that way? Continue reading →
