Dear Baby,

Hello, baby! You’re sleeping at this time. You woke up so early this morning to think that you slept at 1a.m. already. We just came from a meeting at the Church. You ate well there – spaghetti, and chicken. People loved looking at you while you were eating last night. Such a cutie, you are.

Last night, we also fetched our new maid. Amazing, really, that you liked her at once. She carried you while we were at the agency, and you didn’t cry. You also didn’t cry when she got you from me at the car. You also fell asleep in her arms, on our way home. When we reached our home, you showed your tactics with her. You danced, you clapped, and really played with her. Your yaya was washing the dishes, and you were watching her near the door. You’re getting along so fast with her, that’s the plus factor of your new yaya.

In the morning, you wowed us when you said “hi” to your yaya while waving your hand. You also said the word “yaya” for two times this morning.

When Daddy was about to leave for office, you didn’t go towards the door to kiss him because you were playing with your yaya. When Daddy called you, you just said “yah”, and to our amazement! Haha. Slang…I just taught you about how to say it the other day, and here you are now, saying it to us. Daddy said that you don’t want to walk with Daddy towards the door because of your yaya.  We kept on calling you. Then, suddenly, we saw you coming towards the living room, and let Daddy kissed you on your forehead.

Your yaya said that it’s as if you act like a grown-up already. You’re also witty, she said.

People may regard you as smallish, just like what the people at the agency said about you when they asked me about how many months you are now. I said a year old. Small, they said. I said back “adi” – normal. But they don’t know how smart you are! Smartness cannot be seen in the eyes at once, but, it definitely lasts longer than having physical height. What would we do with our strength if we don’t have the brains? Well, Mommy is just talking with myself right now, baby. BUT, baby, you should really eat, ha?

Now that we have a new yaya (she’s on trial with us for 3 days), Mommy can now concentrate on my tasks at work. I also need not worry because when Mommy’s busy, yaya could take turns with me in teaching you – although, of course, it would be Mommy who will be your fulltime homeschool teacher.

This is all for now.

Dear Baby,

Wow, it’s morning again! Haha. Mommy can only write you letters after midnight. I just finished cleaning our kitchen. A new maid is coming over tomorrow. I hope she’s THE ONE.

How are you, baby? You must be very tired. We got home after mass at around 10p.m. already.

At the mass, you sang! Haha. So cute, really, because you were hitting the notes!

You ate chocolate at Pad’s office.

You also consumed half-box of the choco-drink.

And, Daddy forgot to brush your teeth. He was the one who cleaned you up before bedtime. Mommy forgot to tell Daddy, too. Anyway, I’ll wipe your teeth with a clean cloth, in a few minutes.

Yesterday morning, you amazed Mommy because it was your first time to get down from the sofa. Mommy was busily cooking (good thing, you weren’t at the kitchen when the fry pan (with boiling oil) fell down from the gas stove — thank God!) when you’re at the door waiting for me! Haha. You’re so cutie! How did you get down from the sofa on your own? Daddy was amazed, too, because he witnessed it last night. He said that you went down from the sofa effortlessly. WOW.

You amazed us, too, when, for the second time (that I witnessed it), you drank your choco drink like a pro. You drank it without the straw (direct from the box, from the small hole so had to pull your head back to drink the choco).

Time flies so fast, really. Everyday you’re showing your developments. I thank the Lord for giving me the opportunity to witness your antics, tricks, and funny moments.

This is all for now, baby. It’s almost four in the morning. Mommy needs to sleep now.

Dear Baby:

Howdy, baby! I hope you get well soon. Your nasal mucus has been pestering you for over 5 days now. It must be because of the caretaker; he grabbed you without considering that you’re still a baby. He doesn’t know how to handle a baby. I think the weather is also a culprit. But usually your nasal mucus doesn’t last that long. I hope your appetite will get back soon so you’d have a strong immune system.

Other than that nasal mucus, you’re fine. I am sure that time will come wherein you’ll hit your growth curve. For now I am just happy that you’re perfectly doing all right. Read the rest of this entry »

Dear Baby,

Hello my adorable, gorgeous, gifted baby!

Awesome, you’re asleep as Mommy writes this letter. I was supposed to write you this letter last night, but, I was too preoccupied with a lot of our messes here and there! Hahaha. Uh-oh, no problem with that, baby. I love to deal with your messes everywhere around the corner of our house.

What prompted me to write this letter (wow, Mommy has been writing you natural letters everyday!) is that I wanted to tell you what you did at the kitchen (mind you, it’s gross, baby!) while Mommy was cooking. I just stepped out of our kitchen for a few seconds and when I got back, there you were in front of the garbage can, getting the spoiled left over pasta!!!! Ugggh! I was really taken aghast!

Mommy didn’t think you’d go inside the kitchen. Usually, you’re satisfied just looking at what Mommy’s doing by just standing near the door – that’s it and nothing else. But ahhh, I underestimated you. I forgot when the cat is away, the mouse will play! Hahaha.

I immediately got you up, washed your mouth with water, rinsed it thoroughly and smelled your breath if the stinky pasta was still there. Good thing you weren’t able to eat or bite the pasta!

Last night, we all played inside our blanket. Daddy and Mommy were already too tired to keep the blanket up, but, you still loved to play. You started crying because no one wanted to play with you anymore. Wow, you have so much energy, baby, even in the middle of the night.

Oh, I have to stop writing this letter. You’re now here in our computer room. You went here silently; I thought you’re peacefully sleeping in our bed. :)

This is all for now.
