Dear Baby: 11th natural letter for baby

Dear Baby,

How are you, my baby? It’s been a month since I last wrote you a letter. There have been so many changes in Mommy’s life, and yes, with you, too. You’re now 30 weeks  and 1 day old in Mommy’s womb! Wow! How time flies! I’m still sick with coughs. This has been going for almost three weeks now. Thank God, I never have any fever. Mommy would be so afraid of your status in my womb if I got a fever. God is so great for taking good care of me, you, and Daddy.

I’m now staying at home after that one-week bedrest that my new OBGyne gave me. It’s for good, err, for now and until you reach your 2nd birthday. There’s a story for this, but I’d tell you when you’re old enough to understand.

I am currently listening to the audio book, Beautiful Adulthood, and I’d like you to hear it, too, so you’d know how beautiful it is to be a baby girl, a girl. and a woman.

At 28 weeks, you’re now weighing 1.4kg. Twelve more weeks to go!

iloveyou,

mommy

Dear Baby A****,

Hello, my baby! Did you notice I called you, Baby (name deleted). It’s because Daddy and Mommy just confirmed that we are having a baby girl! Wow! We are having a baby girl!!! Honestly, we thought that you’re a boy because of the way you show in Mommy’s belly. People have been telling me, too, that you’re a boy. But this time, the new OBGyne confirmed that “It’s a girl, ” as he said. Daddy and I were both silent for a few seconds, but, indeed, we’re very happy!

Now, it’s final that your name is (full name deleted), and A****, for short. (Some text deleted for privacy)

While we are on our way home, Daddy said that you should have a baby brother soon, umm, maybe after a two years? We’ve just bought your first set of baby clothes. Daddy chose the white over the pink one.

We will see you in the SONAR tomorrow. Till here, baby.

Daddy and Mommy love you!

Dear Baby: 9th natural letter for my baby

Dear Baby,

Hello! How are you, my baby? After five months, it’s mommy’s first day to report back to the office. Mommy worked from home during the last five months. Our building at the office has no elevator nor escalator, and it wasn’t good for pregnant mommy to go up and down a steep staircase during the first three months.

On your first three months, baby, I vomited a lot (grins). So I wasn’t able to eat a lot. But, thanks God, your weight is OK according to my 2nd OBGyne. I’m looking for my 3rd OBGyne. My first OBGyne was an Egyptian, while the 2nd one is a fellow Filipina, however, she’s back home for the holidays. I need to have a checkup about how you’re doing, baby, so Daddy and Mommy are looking for the 3rd OBGyne. The 2nd OBGyne won’t be the one to deliver you, baby, so there’s really a need to start looking for that 3rd and final OBGyne for Mommy.

Forgive me for my handwriting tonight. I just finished eating and couldn’t wait to sit down.

iloveyou,

mommy

Dear Baby,

Hello! How are you, my baby? I missed writing you a letter! It’s been several days since the last time I wrote you.

We were given several free days, I mean non-working days so Daddy and Mommy strolled around the country. Daddy and Mommy celebrated our 9th engagement anniversary last Dec. 5. It’s also our monthsaries last Dec. 6,7, and 8. Whew! Mommy would tell you more about how Daddy and Mommy met, and more stories about us.

We just brought our 3.5G phones! As soon as you’re born, Mommy will take your videos and photos, which Mommy will send to Daddy while he’s at the office. Mommy might not work for several months after delivering you, baby, so that I could take good care of you.

Mommy just bought three story books, which Mommy will read while you’re in my womb.

iloveyou,

mommy
